Bunja is of properly rectangular shape in various dimensions. The most often dimensions are 15cm x free length and 12cm x free length, but there is a possibility of production in various different shapes.
It is hand carved and the visible part has a characteristic relief.
It is produced in different types of carving and also in different colors.
It is very common on the facades on the Dalmatian houses but also in Croatia inland.
